So what does the Libertarian Party of Oakland County actually do?

The LP promotes liberty in all we do, through our various events. Our number one event, of course, is to run candidates. In 2011, there are no partisan elections in Michigan, but some of our members will be running in non-partisan races. In addition we want to help light the fires of liberty in your neighborhood. Help us protest, get involed in local council meetings, and get together for a celebration now and then.

During partisan elections years anyone can even be a candidate as long as they are a Libertarian. We have no litmus test, through we would expect you to score libertarian on "The Quiz" and be a due paying member.
